DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) has launched a seal for Open Access together with SPARC Europe. The seal must set standards for Open Access Journals. Creative Commons By (CC-By) License is proposed by SPARC Europe. The second strand of the Seal is that journals should provide metadata for all their articles to the DOAJ.
