Introduction sessions to library databases

October 19, 2006

Sometimes it’s not easy to find your way within the 300 databases and 14000 e-journals owned by the university library.
To help you with this task, the library organises introduction sessions to the databases.
These sessions give you an overview of the following:

1. What is LibriSourcePlus?
2. What is LibriLinks?
3. Where can I find the databases and how do I select the correct one?
4. Presentation of some major databases p.ex.: PIO, PICA, Academic Search
5. How to use the Web of Science?
6. Electronic full text journals K.U.Leuven: what are they, where can I find them and how to use them?

The sessions are for doctoral students, academic personnel and library staff.
